University of Basrah Hands Over Donation Campaign Funds to Representative of the Supreme Religious Authority in Support of the Iranian and Lebanese Peoples

In accordance with the directives of the President of the University of Basrah, Professor Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kazem Al-Asadi, the Director of the Media and Government Communication Department, lecturer Haider Abdul Ameer, delivered the funds collected from the donation campaign to the representative of the Supreme Religious Authority, Mr. Hassanein Al-Safi.

Abdul Ameer explained that the total amount collected during the campaign reached 24,135,000 Iraqi dinars, 600 US dollars, and 1,000,630 tomans, in addition to a gold ring and a pair of gold earrings, all provided in support of the Iranian and Lebanese peoples.

He emphasized that this campaign comes in response to the call of the Supreme Religious Authority and reflects the spirit of humanitarian solidarity demonstrated by members of the University of Basrah across all sectors.

In conclusion, the Director of the Media and Government Communication Department expressed his thanks and appreciation to the University President as the official patron of the campaign. He also commended the significant efforts of the deans, faculty members, staff, students, and donation organizers who answered the call of the Supreme Religious Authority and contributed to providing support and assistance to their brothers and sisters during these challenging circumstances.
