The Deanship of the College of Arts / Student Activities Division organized, on Monday 6/4/2026, within its duties of supporting voluntary work, a humanitarian initiative in cooperation with the volunteer student team of the College of Arts, represented by a visit to the National Orphan Foundation (Orphanage and Schools) in Basrah Governorate.

During the visit, the volunteer team provided a number of essential supplies for male and female students, as part of supporting this segment and enhancing the spirit of social solidarity.

For his part, Professor Dr. Abdul Amir Hashim, supervisor of the voluntary work, explained that this initiative contributes to developing the spirit of cooperation and solidarity among different segments of society, especially among university students, and enhances their humanitarian and social role in serving the community.
