The Living Languages ​​Center at the College of Arts held the IELTS English proficiency exam on Thursday, 10/26/2023, in the Multimedia Language Laboratory.  The IELTS exam was conducted in two types (general and academic) according to the participants’ choice. The first part of the exam, which includes a skills test (listening, reading, and writing), began at nine in the morning. As for the speaking skill test, it was done on Wednesday.

It is worth noting that the Living Languages ​​Center at the College of Arts/University of Basra is the only center in the southern region authorized to administer the IELTS exam from the British Council.
