On the occasion of the celebration of the founding of the University of Basrah, the Department of History at the College of Arts held a festival. The celebration included the presentation of historical photographs of the prime ministers of Iraq from the monarchy to the year 2022, and the presentation of the important monuments in Iraq. The other part of the celebration contained the famous Basri meals. Besides, there was a large presence of professors  and students of the department.
