The Department of English at the College of Arts / University of Basrah held its first virtual symposium, which was presented by the teaching staff:

1.​Asst. Prof. Dr. Nizar Abdel Hafez Obaid Jawhar Al-Diri​, who dealt with the topic of (Focalisation and Narration).

 2. Asst. Prof. Dr. Samer Talib Dawood Salman Al-Jassem, who dealt with the topic of (Imaginative Resistance in the Restoration Adaptations of Shakespeare).

With the coordination and presentation of the assistant teacher Kawthar Abdel Abbas.
